At the Westchester Institute for Transformative Support (WITS), we believe the next generation of helping professionals, community leaders, and change-makers deserve opportunities to learn in environments rooted in compassion, innovation, and meaningful community impact.
The WITS Internship Program provides students with hands-on experience in trauma-informed, restorative, and culturally responsive programming. Interns become part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and communities through healing, personal growth, education, and transformation.
Our internship experience offers students the opportunity to develop professional skills while contributing to real-world programs focused on trauma recovery, intimate partner violence prevention, restorative practices, parenting support, cultural restoration, community wellness, and empowerment-based programming.

Through supportive supervision, mentorship, and experiential learning, WITS interns gain exposure to innovative approaches that integrate clinical knowledge, community engagement, and holistic healing practices.
